Sales Manager

Mike joined the Hillsboro Aviation team in 2022 as Sales Manager overseeing sales for the service center maintenance and avionics, parts sales, and FBO divisions.

Mike joins us with over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, spanning everything from operations to management and entrepreneurship. He holds an A&P certificate and Inspection Authorization and has multi-engine, instrument, and second-in-command (SIC) ratings in the Falcon 10, 20, 50, 900, and 2000, as well as Citation 560 and 560XL models. Mike’s factory maintenance training includes Piper, Socata, TBM, Pilatus PC-12, Falcon 50, and Falcon 900 aircraft.

Mike comes from a long line of aviators. His mother learned to do loops in a Cessna 172 while pregnant with him, and his father was a charter and instructor pilot. Mike’s grandfather was a Corsair crew chief in WWII for the VMF-351, while his other grandfather was a B-17 flight engineer at Blewie West One just after the war before becoming a design engineer on the F-100D for North American. Mike’s great-grandfather was an engineer on the F-86 and F-100.

In his free time, Mike is a family man, adventurer, and writer. When he’s not working on his home or cooking with his wife, you can find him hiking in the Columbia Gorge, working on his novel, or traversing Oregon’s skies for the $400 burger.
