Mark De Forge
Controller
Mark joined Hillsboro Aviation as Controller in 2021. He is responsible for the oversight and management of the company’s accounting and HR departments.
Prior to joining the Hillsboro Aviation team, Mark served as Controller of a Precision Castparts plant that made airfoils for turbine engines on the GEnx-1B, which is used on the Boeing 787. Mark holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon and is a CPA, CMA, and CFE.
Mark’s great uncle was Fred Rohr, founder of Rohr Aircraft, and many members of his family were involved in the business. Mark and his wife look forward to pursuing flying lessons in their free time.
When not crunching numbers, Mark is outside on his farm, where you can find him chasing after his pigs (they’re escape artists) or planting. He’s in the process of restoring a native prairie, and was previously involved in wetland restoration planting around 1,000 trees a year until a beaver moved into the wetland and made a dam out of his trees.
