Carmell Soll

Carmell joined Hillsboro Aviation in November of 2020 as a Parts Sales Representative. In the summer of 2021, she took on outside sales and now travels 20% of her time while building and maintaining customer relationships.  

Carmell was first introduced to aviation in 2006. She entered the US Navy as an Air Traffic Controller in 2006 (FAA Certified). Carmell completed six years enlisted at NAS Pax River Maryland, and was deployed to NAS Sigonella Sicily during her time in the military. After separation from the military, she was off to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott AZ), where she earned her Private Pilot’s License, aviation, aeronautics, and airport management knowledge.  

In 2015, Carmell changed gears from flight school to a part sales position with Boeing. She later accepted a promotion to the New York Boeing parts office, where she built relationships with the Hillsboro Aviation team assisting them with their parts needs.

Carmell enjoys cooking, biking, hiking, movies, and running (most of the time). Although #1 is spending time with her teenage son and dog, while finding exciting new places to enjoy and explore in the Pacific Northwest.
