简介 Ken Johnson
Ken attended pilot training in the U.S. Army in 1973. He flew UH-1Bs, UH-1Hs and OH-58 Scouts. In 1979, he started flying commercial operations, including seismic, fire fighting and utility work. Then in 1985, Ken and his wife started their own company which grew to include five helicopters. Ken served as the Chief Pilot, Director of Operations and part owner for 13 years.
Since then, he has worked primarily in aerial fire fighting, helicopter skiing, search and rescue for Teton County Sheriff and as a company safety officer. He has logged over 22,000 hours of pilot in command time of which 16,000 hours where flown in mountainous terrain. He has won several awards for mountain rescue, including the Robert Trimble Memorial Mountain Pilot Award from Helicopter Association International and the Jackson Rotary for Community Service award. He also worked with Harrison Ford on helicopter training and mountain flying when Harrison became involved in aviation.
