About Franz Bergtold
Franz is a commercial helicopter pilot with Instrument and Certified Flight Instructor Ratings as well as Part 135 Check Airman privileges. He graduated from the University of Bayreuth, Germany, in sports and business administration. Franz immigrated to the United States 11 years ago to pursue his career as a helicopter pilot. He held the position of helicopter chief instructor at Hillsboro Aviation and flew for the contract and charter division as a utility and firefighting pilot before accepting the position of Director of Operations for the division.
