TSA Course Identification Information
Use the following guidelines when registering on the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Web site at www.flightschoolcandidates.gov. The TSA requires candidates to register for the Private/Sport/Recreational Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Rating.
Airplane Professional Pilot – You need to register for the Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Rating. If you already have your Private Pilot Certificate, only register for the instrument and multi-engine courses. Before graduating from a course, school administration requires that you register with the TSA for your next course. Save your login and password information or you may need to be fingerprinted again. When you register for your next course, add your Hillsboro address.
Helicopter Professional Pilot – You need to register for both the Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating.
