Housing
Cost of living is an important factor when determining which flight school you choose. That’s why Hillsboro Aviation has housing agreements with nearby apartment complexes. Students have the option of renting a bedroom with a shared bathroom at $140.00 USD per week or a master bedroom with a private bathroom, when available, at $160.00 USD per week. For students staying 21 days or less, the rent is $35.00 USD per day. Students who live in student housing are required to pay a $50.00 U.S. nonrefundable fee for set up and cleaning expenses. This fee is charged upon the student’s arrival.
Rent prices include utility costs and local telephone service. Cable television service is available from the local cable company. Internet is not provided at student housing but is available at the school. Pillows, blankets and sheets are provided for each student. Please contact the School Administration Manager Jenifer Jaques to make housing arrangements prior to your arrival.
In addition to our housing program, students are free to live on their own. We do not require students to live in our housing, and can assist you with finding housing in the area. Often, students choose to move into their own place or with friends after they become more familiar with the area.
Other housing options are available throughout the local area. Any student who wishes to make alternative housing arrangements should contact the School Administration Manager Jenifer Jaques for additional information.
