Veterans Benefits
Hillsboro Aviation is a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)-approved flight school under the Montgomery GI Bill, Vocational Rehabilitation and in conjunction with Portland Community College for the Post-9/11 GI Bill. The first step to receiving GI Bill benefits is to submit Form 22-1990 if you have never used your VA benefits before. If you have used your benefits before, please submit Form 22-1995. The approval process can take several months; you should apply as soon as you decide to attend Hillsboro Aviation for flight training.

All training must be done under Part 141 to be eligible for reimbursement from the VA.

In order to receive reimbursement, a VA student must have a valid Class II Medical certificate at the time of enrollment. For airline transport pilot training, the student must have a valid Class I Medical certificate at the time of enrollment.
